Multisport racing is one of the most difficult and testing of all
endurance sports. Multisport is also one of the fastest growing
sports due to the exciting nature of the racing and spectacular
scenery through which races are often run. Training for this type of
racing can be both interesting and diverse with Kayaking, Running
and Cycle training structured into an average week.
Because of this diversity, programs have to be designed with the
goal of improving aerobic fitness, allowing the body to handle races
- ranging in length from 1 hour sprint races to 3-4 day endurance
races like New Zealand’s Southern Traverse. Training also must be
specifically designed for the type of terrain that is to be raced
over, as well as the duration of the individual disciplines.
The old style static programs that have so often been used in the
past are out dated because they do not allow the flexibility
required to be successfully implemented by the athlete. If there is
any problems in the build up such as injuries or other setbacks, you
are unable to adjust the program to suit, therefore the whole
program becomes obsolete, costing you both time and money.

stored online. All of your short and long term plans, training diary
and race/training statistics will be stored within your area so both
you and your coach can have easy access to your information, you
will also be able to leave notes for you coach as well as you coach
being able to leave notes and additional training information for
you. Only you and your coach will be able to access the information
and is protected by a log in pass word.
This new online system will allow us to monitor your training more
closely meaning it will be easier for us know what works best for
you and your training. In this way we will be able to constantly
improve your program based on your feedback thus tailoring you
program more closely to your needs and in the process will be able
to build a repour with you on a one to one basis and guide you
towards achieving your triathlon sporting goals.
